The December 12, 2010 – March 6, 2011 exhibit, 55th MID-STATES ART EXHIBITION, is a regional competition open to artists in a six state area including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri.
Over $7,000 in purchase and merit awards, underwritten by Evansville individuals, corporations, foundations and philanthropic organizations, will be presented at the December 11th Awards Reception. Purchase awards allow the Museum to acquire works for our contemporary art collection and merit awards are an important encouragement to and recognition of regional artists.
Co-owner of ACA Galleries in New York City with her husband, Jeffrey, Dorian Bergen is an advisor to the Board of Directors of the New York Open Center, one of the largest holistic education centers in the United States. She is on the board of Faith Ringgold’s Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling and is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America and ArtTable. ACA Galleries, founded in 1932, specializes in 19th and 20th century American and European Art and Contemporary Art.

5x5 exposed is a small works photography exhibit that includes work from 46 artists from around the country and world.The juror is photography expert and gallery owner Kathleen Ewing.
